The DBB built FAW option might work, but I would still recommend only using arrays. Unlike the Avenger, the Scimitar is a little slow so a cannons build will probably not work all that well for it.
The build of choice for dps is of course the same Aux2Bat and technician build I’ve previously shown for the Avenger, with the same caveats about expense and where to get the technicians. The combination of lots of weapons, lots of tactical consoles, a commander tactical boff slot, and hangar mean that its damage potential is unmatched. The Scimitar is without a doubt the most powerful PvE ship in the game, and no slouch in the PvP department either, being able to take on the role of high-dps self-tanking cruiser moderately well. I really should have done this back when I got my own Scimitar, but this gives me a chance to show off some of the new keybinding tricks that I’ve learned recently. I have two Characters lvl60 one Human/Fed and then other Reman/KDF and I am looking into the best traits for the Full Engineering Build. Most Engineering Build use the Tac Tree or Sci Tree for the majority of the points allotted. The more damage that the ship received, it would increase the damage the ship could deal. Before the tree revamp there was a build that was (which I can’t find anymore) that was effectively a reflection boat (I don’t know if that is the correct term for it). After a year and a half it looks like the Engineering tree has been abandon as I have not come across a Full Engineering build.
